Ok heres the situation: I found out today that a girl who pledged last semester is taking a semester off and going to a community school. Im not sure exactly why shes taking the time off though. She says shell be back in spring but who knows. Also it doesnt seem like she told anyone we just kinda found out. Well i was just wondering what will happen with her status. Since I've been a member nothing like this has happened. So i was just wondering if there was a standrad or something. Thanks!

If she transfers to a school that does not have a Gamma Phi Beta chapter, she will be granted alumna status. If she comes back to your school in the spring, she would be allowed to become an active again.

And even though you (and some others) probably don't know, she probably told someone. Could be family health, grades, or any number of reasons.
