The Florida/Georgia game

Things seem to be getting back to normal now. The weekend is over and everyone has gone back to their schools.

Now, does anyone have any wonderful experiences over the weekend they'd like to share? This is the thread to do it. I'll save mine for last.

RowdySister......I tried calling you like 3 times.....I was with Heather....and your big or your grand big, can't remember which. We met at the bathrooms. I woke up sunday afternoon and scanned through my cell numbers....I saw a 305 area code and a number I didn't know....then the name said dyan....I figuered I never met up with you or I was so wasted I just didn't remember.

I had a FABULOUS weekend!

My DZ big sister's baby shower was the weekend before last, but I wasn't able to make it. So, I promised that I'd drive down for a visit this past weekend to make it up to her.

As it turns out, she went into labor early and instead of driving down for lunch, I was able to spend quality time with her and her new DZ legacy at the hospital this weekend!

My presence gave her husband time to run errands and check on their son who was staying with his grandmother, so I was really happy to be there to help out.

The baby is beautiful and both mom and daughter are doing great. And, as if that wasn't enough, Georgia Tech beat #8 ranked NC State and Georgia lost to Florida. It was the perfect weekend.

I had a great weekend...started tailgating at 6:30am, 4 undefeated teams lost, IOWA won and is #6 in most polls, my christmas plans include Pasadena or possible florida.... gotta love the fall and college fb...

I'm glad Notre Dame lost...not because I dislike them...but I'd hate to see them go against a powerhouse like Oklahoma or Miami in a BCS bowl...I'm sure those two could some NFL teams.

believe me, it was a task getting up that early... but we had to get out there and get a good spot, plus i had some Wisconsin friends in town for the game, and we had to show them how it's done Hawkeye style.

There weren't any good parties and the fraternity I normally go to when there aren't good parties going on had a closed house until midnight and they were all *completely* wasted with the majority of them passed out by the time it opened. There was lettuce and eggs and disgusting shit all over the house and vomit was practically hanging in the air.

So after some guy broke his leg there, I went home and went to bed because I had to get up the next morning for ALL HOUSE CLEANUP at 9AM. Four hours of the most disgusting work that we ever have to do. Cleaning ovens, floor drains, scrubbing toilets, dusting every single finking light cover we've got in the place... then I realized I have like five million exams and papers this week and two of those were for today. I figured I should get them finished Saturday so that I could go out and have no worries. Well, I got a migraine that lasted until Sunday afternoon--that's right, another night ruined. It wasn't the kind that I could just get up and drink through or anything--I tried functioning normally--it was definitely a bedridden type thing. Then I had to scramble to read half of a BORING novel for a quiz, then cram for a big exam this afternoon and write a 10 page paper due tomorrow morning.

This next weekend should be MUCH better. I'm going to Mizzou to hang out with my buddies and my brother there! Yay!

I'm glad other people had good weekends though...

My weekend rocked!!! I went to the Aerosmith concert in Phoenix with two of my buds that came to visit from UCLA . The next day when went tubing down the Salt River, enjoying the gorgeous Phoenix weather. On the down side, I have four midterms this week so I'm sort of wishing I would have studied at least a tiny bit this weekend, but it's all good...aprilxo, sounds like an awful weekend! I'm sure things will shape up and you'll have a blast at Mizzou next weekend.

My weekend was great...I went to FL-GA! On Friday night we hit the Landings and met up with everyone then postpartied. Saturday my sisters and I went shopping, then to the big tailgating party one of our sisters throws every year, then the game, Landings, and partying at Adam's Mark. I can't believe we won the game!!!!

UF Pike, how on earth did you manage to meet my big or grandbig, of all the people there? Weird! I'll pm you.

My weekend was amazing. I went to New Orleans for a wedding. While it was not my first time, it was my most memorable. Everything was perfect.

We arrived Friday afternoon (after flying Deltas sucky-ass ASA connector to Dallas.), got to the hotel (Stayed at the very nice Omni Royal Crescent). Met up with all our other friends who had already flown in for a late lunch. (My first of 3 shrimp po-boys the weekend). Went back to the hotel and crashed out for an hour-long nap. Showered up, met up with everyone on Bourbon street and had Arnaud's for dinner. Great gumbo. Then went to Pat O's for Hurricanes. About 11 we took the streetcar to the Columns mansion on St. Charles to meet up with the wedding party. Drank on the balcony for a few hours.

Drank till about 4 am. Got the bride (who's an old friend) to show me her tits for beads. Lol. Apparently stole a bunch of soap from the hotel too, because I tried to pay the cab driver in bars of soap. Seriously, I took like 30 bars.

Woke up the next morning with all my clothes on and the TV on, which only happens when I am really drunk. Met everyone downstairs at the deli for another po-boy and to nurse my hangover. Tried to take the streetcar to the wedding, but it never showed up, so we had to cab it. All 12 of us piled into two minivan cabs and went to the wedding. It was there that I realized that I had left my cell phone in the cab. Fortunately the driver answered and I offered him $20 to bring it back, which he gladly accepted. The wedding was amazing, and my friend Luci looked beautiful. I have been to many Texas weddings, but never an old-style southern outdoor wedding. The place was really cool, with a lot of history.

The best part was the bride kept laughing hysterically through her vows. It was funny. The reception was more like a classy cocktail party. Very cool. After the bride and groom left we all went back to our hotels, napped and changed clothes for the night. We met up with everyone else at Harrah's casino, lost some money, ate a great meal at Mothers, went back to the Columns, had a few more drinks and all caught a streetcar to Canal Street, where we then walked down to Bourbon street and partied our asses off till about 5am.

Woke up the next morning again, fully clothed and with the TV on. Got ready, met up with the group, had beignets and coffee at Café du Monde, walked around the corner and watched the river traffic on the Mississippi for a while, walked around Jackson Square, lit a candle at St. Louis cathedral, took a walking tour of the French quarter, and grabbed a bite to eat on Bourbon street before heading back to the hotel to get our bags and flying home.

It was a great weekend, and a perfect break from work. I cant wait to go back.

My weekend:

I too went to the UF/UGA game. It may be one of the craziest I've had in awhile. When I say I don't me stupid, I mean out of control.

Some of my friends from Atlanta, Alabama, Louisiana and all over Florida met up.

Friday night we got tanked. We killed 6 bottles of 151 proof rum before we left. There were 12 of us this night. We got to the landing and we started binging. We stayed at this one bar most of the night. I started hitting on this KD i had a past with....some of you might remember my story on her. Her name is Tiffany, the one who caused the fight to break out between both sororities since we had a wild night a few nights before the woodsor and ended up seeing me there with my now EX. Anyhow, surprisingly she was happy to see me. I hadn't seen her since the 4th of July. She came and chilled with my friends and I. We were taking shots and killing some vodka/cranberries. Suddenly the worst possible situation arose. The sisters/friends of my EX came walking by while I was all over this chick. The the Rowdy one of the girls started yelling at me.
" You piece of $hit " " You phucked Jenn over for her? "....Tiffany was as bad as I and got offensive.....She started yelling at nikki. I had to hold her back. Then my EX came over with the rest of the DG gang. My boys each had a girl already as well. Well my Ex and company assumed they were KDs as Tiffany and started yelling at my boys girls.....This was bad because these girls didn't take any $hit. So before we knew it girls started pushing each other and four started fighting. Then the guys with the DGs came over. This one guy who my EX has been messing with came up to me and asked if I was Craig......For some reason I didn't answer him, I knew we were about to throw down, so I spit in his face...he came after me and missed. I got two solid punches in before the rest of his boys, who were Phi Delts, came in swinging.....then my boys jumped in, EX-college football players and two current injured NFL players....amazingly some of my Pike brothers from my chapter and the new one came in. I guess they saw us from outside and jumped in. The fight lasted for about 3 minutes. The police arrived after it was over, I guess they couldn't get through the crowds. It sucked because the weekend before I injured my hand saturday night when some brothers and I fought some gay guys in Key West. I was already scared since I had one of the gay guys teeth lodged in between two of my knuckles and thought he could've had HIV. Needless to say, we left that bar. After that we went to hooters and killed drinks....After hooters I don't remember what happened. The rest of the night was a black out.

Saturday we all woke up feeling groggy from the night before. We started drinking as soon as we woke up, beer that is....by 4pm we got hungry and raided a Japanese Steak house.....we ate and killed countless rounds of Saki.....Afterwards we went to change our clothes and drink one of my boys special punch. He wouldn't tell us what was in it, but it tasted nasty and smelt like Vodka..... I had my thoughts....Next we made way for the Landings again......We stayed there and made one of the guys selling mixed drinks a lot of money......I think we drank all the vodka he had. We went to the game and afterwards we went back to the landings. This time all of us were after those HOT chicks from Georgia......we met up with some of our boys who play for UF and things started getting crazy again......luckily for some of us we had enough sense to stop each other from fighting anyone who came our way and things calmed down again. This time we met a bunch of Georgia chicks and had them come back to the Adams Mark......those might be some of my favorite chicks now....anyhow, our night ended around 7:00am....sunday we woke up and went to a sports bar to watch the Tampa Bay game....drank beer and ate wings....afterwards our boys who didn't live in Florida went home. The rest of us went and passed out. At 10:00pm we woke up and dipped out to a place called the Doll House....(no questions please).....got tanked again and called it a night around 2:00am......Monday I felt like crapp......I don't think I've drank that much since last summer. I've been taking 1000mg of Vitamin-C and feel much better now.

Rowdysister......I met your Big/Grand-Big at the porto-potties sometime after the game......I got locked in one of the bathrooms and a sister of yours named Heather helped get me out. I think the door jammed on me. Anyhow I went and bought a drink for heather.....however, I was totally wanting to start hitting on your Grand-Big...the thing was is that there wasn't enough legit Pi Phis around for all my friends.....after the game there were about 16 of us and only 4 or 5 sisters of yours.....I kept calling you for a little while....in fact I think talked to you but you sounded about like I felt....it was pointless and so we bailed.....Anyhow, I'll PM you with the rest of the details.....

Sorry we weren't traveling in packs that time....we all got seperated. Maybe next time. Oh, and I really don't think we chatted on the phone...I would've remembered that, I wasn't that drunk.
