Cool THE BACHELOR: An Officer and a Gentleman

Ok ladies, the newest season of The Bachelor has been filming since the beginning of the year. The wrap party happened last week on the North Shore.

I'm sure y'all have already seen pix of Dr. Andy the Naval doctor, triathlete, model, Duke grad, yada yada. But just in case you didn't, here he is:

The Bachelorettes

I don't know who he ended up picking (and I certainly won't post it here if and when I do ) but he was having a "good time" at the W on Saturday.

I'm unsure at this point if I (or any of our Skyline/W crowd) will watch it. I don't think I can stomach it.

Okay here is my personal favorite bachelorette description:

- Peyton, a 24-year-old sorority recruiter who currently resides in Dallas, TX

What the heck is a sorority recruiter? I've never heard of this job. I've heard of recruitment advisors, recruitment officers, recruitment chairs, but not sorority recruiter

LOL, I didn't even catch that. I know collegians are technically sorority recruiters when it comes time for recruitment, but I've never seen anyone list it as their occupation!

Now the real question is -- which sorority does she belong to?

Knowing the kind of person Andy is and judging from the last five girls he's dated/screwed around with, I doubt that he and Peyton will have much in common. Of course I could be totally wrong, but it'll be interesting to see if he steps out of "the usual".

Didn't mention what sorority she is a member of. Who knows, she could probably be one of the 26 (nationals that is) because she is living in Dallas Texas.

I just check abc.com and the "official" site with the bachelorettes photos and mini bio's isn't up yet. The only thing up is the bio on the bachelor

Arlington is right outside Dallas and that is where Tri Delta is headquartered. I am guessing she works for their HQ. ETA: There is a Peyton who works at their HQ.

Andy is cute but I find the ads for the show ANNOYING. He's a SAILOR, not a SOLDIER. And while he is a sailor, we tend to call officers officers, not sailors.

But semantics.

I know my fraternity employs full-time recruitment consultants, who are paid by the fraternity to help with rush at schools in a certain region. It may be something similar to that.

The "Bachlorette" second from the top right (the one that has the "eat shit" look on her face) kinda looks like Ann Coulter.

Maybe its the picture but he looks plastic. I know we've talked about Spencer from the Hills looking like a Ken doll but I think Dr Andy takes the cake on that one.

I doubt I'll be watching this season, the Bachelor lost its appeal to me a few seasons back.

Hmmm...they sure do! She's listed as a "Marketing Coordinator" and she's blonde!

This might be worth watching!

Peyton is definitely a Tri Delt! I actually was just on InCircle (like a private facebook/myspace for Tri Delts) and they had a group discussion page on her. I believe she was a field consultant a couple of years back from our University of Tennessee chapter, and continues to work for Nationals.

Generally, I can't stand "The Bachelor," but I might have to watch to support my fellow Tridelta!

The name itself, "Peyton", makes me think of that babysitter villain that Rebecca DeMornay played, in "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle".

I'm not digging this bachelor and I look forward to hearing more dirt from OTW in the 808 (by PM if necessary, girlfriend.... ). He looks like a wax figure from "Madame Tussaud's".

Oh it will most definitely be via PM! I'm curious to see if he'll be out and about once the season starts.

That's the thing about living on an island like this. Everybody knows your business.
