Theta Delta Chi Reorganizes At Harvard
After an 89-year absence from Harvard University, Theta Delta Chi has organized a colony at one of the United States' most prestigious institutions.
The Alpha Charge at Union College chartered the Iota Charge at Harvard University in 1856, as the ninth Charge of Theta Delta Chi. Iota remained active at Harvard until it was closed in 1916, and it has lain dormant until its current reorganization. The alumni of the Iota were extremely active in the affairs of Theta Delta Chi, and they were instrumental in founding our Charges at Tufts, Columbia, and MIT.
The Iota’s most famous alumnus is Dr. Frank Lahey, Iota 1904, founder of Boston’s Lahey Clinic. Within Theta Delta Chi, the Charge is well known for Richmond "Skip" Fletcher, Iota 1908, noted artist and composer, who wrote Theta Delt’s most popular song, "Stars Ablaze".
Harvard undergraduate men interested in improving their intellectual, moral, and social being through friendship should contact Charge Consultant Ryan Aggergaard at ryan@tdx.org, or (800) 999-1847 x.3 to learn more about the Iota Colony at Harvard University.
Alumni, undergraduates, or non-Theta Delts who are interested in learning more about our efforts at Harvard, or about future Theta Delta Chi expansion efforts should also contact Charge Consultant Ryan Aggergaard.
