Brothers at war

Anyone you know from your chapter going to war in Iraq? In the military or serving in the war against terrorism?

Current Mu Tau brothers & alums at war:

Two and soon three brothers of our chapter are currently participating in the War on Terrorism.

Our Alumni Advisor was just promoted to Colonel and is going to Afghanistan. He'll be in charge of helping to build the country.

One of our brothers just enlisted last year and is in Iraq with the Army.

Another is with a Ranger unit in Alaska guarding the pipeline.

Please give them your prayers.

Sorry to barge in on your thread, but it really hits home. My fiance is a Sigma Nu, and four of his brothers are in Iraq right now-one's in the Army Corps of Nurses, anothers in the Army(not sure doing what), another is a Ranger, and another is in the Air Force flying planes over there.

It scares me, and I know it scraes him that anything would happen to these guys-so please pray for them too!!

At this point in time, I am going through the process of enlist in the Air Force. I will most likely, never see active combat, but the desire to serve my country has stired me to join up. I could very well be in Basic training(in texas) in a month or two.

Damn! Guess I won't see you at Grand Chapter then in a couple of years! Proud of you man. The way things are going you'll probably see active duty against France

My husband is a Sigma Nu from the Zeta Chi chapter in Houston. We are stationed in Germany and he'll be deploying soon..

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers...I know that he appreciates it!

Well, I went through the rest of the process today.

I leave december 2, 2003. I will be going to be train to be a 1N531, Electronic Signals Intelligence Exploitation Apr. Military Intel. I got a 99 Percentile(highest score possible) on the ASVAB, and passed all of the Physical requirements. I go in as an E3(Airman First Class), which is 2 promotions right after Basic. 4 year enlistmant, and I'm getting $10k for loan repayment. Now, just to get myself into proper shape.
