...and while I hate to come off as some sort of spammer or something, I figure that you guys know me well enough to know that I'm not spamming. I just thought I'd post here because I know that the job market still kind of sucks, and I didn't know if any of you out there were looking. I've already sent in a couple of resumes from some GC people, and I don't believe that they were hired, but I think a main reason is that they weren't in the hiring locations. I can't say for sure, as the hiring managers never tell the referring person. So, FWIW, here is a bit of info:
It is a well-known consulting firm that deals with government, IT, intelligence, and financial consulting. So, all of the realms from analysts to HR people are needed. If you have a security clearance, great! If not, there are still lots of positions available, but just not with my home office. Major locations include the DC area and anywhere where there are major military bases around the country. Otherwise, there are some positions (though fewer) in major cities such as Chicago, NYC, Houston, etc, but they are mainly financial-related positions.
If you get hired, I'll split the referral bonus with you.
