What's the geographic distribution of the Pres, VP and PDs? Any from the same Region?

As best I can answer, Randy:

President: Region VI
Vice President: Region VIII
AR/IVD: Region V (though he is originally from Region IV)
Fin/Ops: Region I
LD: Region V
M&E: Region I
Risk Management: VI
Service: Region VIII (his home region), but I believe now resides in Region IV.

Hmm. From first impressions, the Nationally elected officers tilt toward the North and East, with 6 of the 8 in regions I,V, & VI. From second impressions, it actually is even more so than I though, since for the two that aren't, Glen Kinder is in the north end of Region IV (near the KY/TN border)) and John Ottenad is on the East end of Region VIII (St. Louis, MO).

I think this means that all of the Nationally elected board members are from North and East of Branson, Missouri and 6 of the 8 considering Indianapolis a reasonable drive. OTOH, I think 60% of our chapters are North and East of Branson Missouri, so it isn't that *off* (All of I,II, V & VI, about 2/3 of III, 1/3 of VIII and about half of IX)

Well, this is part of why we added Regional Directors back in 1967.

Looked at from the other direction...

Region V has 8 times the number of active chapters and 50 times the number of AAMD paying brothers as Region XI, so having 3 times the board members isn't *that* far off.
