I’ll bet there are many alums sweeping—and later shoveling—front sorority sidewalks! Lots of salt and sand being spread. The snow is beginning to fall in Indiana.

It’s a good thing the first round is virtual! (PNMs return to campus on Tuesday - all other rounds are in person.) It would be awful to schlep between houses and wait outside between parties in the middle of a snowstorm!

I will certainly be lurking tik tok, as IU recruitment got a lot of attention last year. My fave story was someone who went through in 1996 who survived bed rush. I may dig around the recruitment stories thread to find some more, I can't believe that system was in place for so long.

As someone who has been out schlepping (lol) through snow all weekend…I’m glad the PNMs don’t have to do this! In their nicest outfits too
I know August recruitment in the south is HOTTTT but idk if I’d want to do a winter recruitment like this!

I always said that the south should do winter recruitment and the north summer! I do know a lot of PNMs will bundle up then take their layers off once they enter the house.

It does make me laugh seeing how many of the houses have their actives wearing tank tops for recruitment considering the weather? They look great and I’m sure the house is toasty with that many people inside…but still funny. It also shows that I’m very old.

I think the photos were from the virtual round, so I guess it was okay. But yeah even if you're just in the house the door is being opened pretty frequently brrr

The Bid Day weather forecast is for temperatures to be in the low 20's. Bundle up ladies!

I have no numbers yet (and I'll usually post if they post on social media) but you're right they look huge!
