AIs and Chapter Guards
I don't have a chapter guard, and don't know which one to get. The sister who got me into Alpha Gam claims that I was intiated into an alumnae chapter that isn't Tau, but that's not what IHQ says. She says that I'm AFFILIATED with Tau, but initiated to Zeta Phi (McMaster University).
After more than a year, I'm still
Weird?

What does your roll number on your Quarterly say?
I'd go with what IHQ says.

Cynthia, you are listed on the sisters only side as a Tau Initiate. I checked a sister from my own new member class who later affiliated with Chi and she is listed as a Zeta Alpha. Therefore, I'd say, in IHQ's eyes, you are a Tau.

Wonder if this is similar to LXA. Sometimes, a Member is Initiated at another Chapter but is still tied to the original Chapter from whence they came.
Glad you have found the answer and can proceed in getting Your Chapter Guard.
Not to stir a pot, but it always amazes me when GLOs dont use guards. My thought if for no other reason is safety to not lose Your Badge. I would have if not for My guard.

In Phi Mu, you are listed as a member of the chapter that initiates you. The collegiate chapter has to sign off on the nomination process, so you are a member of that chapter.
