Conclave Locations?
IHQ and the Grand Council are always lookin into different options for Conclave, what types of places would you want to go?
Keep in mind that it is Conclave, and cost is very important, but so is stuff to do while we're there...
so New York and Chicago are out from cost alone.
Milwaukee, sad to say, is out since it wouldn't appeal to alot of Tekes out there, you could go on a couply brewery tours (the miller one is quality... you get to see the original caves they first used, it's all about tradition and pride), visit the leaky roof of Miller Park, and visit the Roman Coin, yet i still call it home... and we did have 1 Conclave, back in '37 before ZZ was founded...

there's been talk about gettin a cruise ship, a little about Las Vegas, but with Vegas, there's a worry about the whole gambling, hookers, past grand council members rolling in their graves... but Reno was pretty good for a RLC...

Ottawa or Montreal. With the exchange rate as it is, it would nearly be half off. Plus a lower drinking age.

yea, most people look for either a kinda central USA location, or somewhere that it's cheap to fly to... problem is that takes out almost everywhere....

"Drink Canada Dry"
I vote toronto or Montreal, Canada, to bring back the all-time great Conclave motto
"Drink Canada Dry"
I spent my honeymoon at the last Toronto conclave. After 28 years, I had to get rid of her.

canada might cause some problems as far as fraters gettin arrested in a different country... there was SOME talk about the next one being somewhere up in canada from what i remember, a frater had a powerful position, but i can't remember exactly where, but i think it was ruled out from price and distance... but i'm not totally sure and things do change...
