General Membership

Greetings to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. ,

I hope that each of you are in good spirits and health as I am attempting to reach you. I have a couple questions regarding general membership.

I attend an institution which does not have a chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha. I understand that in order to attempt to be a part of AKA I must go through a graduate chapter nearby. The closest one is about 45 minutes away. But how do I get in contact with the chapter? The national website only supplies a limited amout of contact information, in which I understand and respect.

Is there a difference between getting to know an undergraduate chapter versus a graduate chapter? How would I find out about the graduate/alumni chapter's events and informationals, etc.? Is there a difference between a general member besides joining through a graduate chapter?

I wholeheartedly apologize for all of the questioning I have posed. If you can supply any helpful advice, I'd look forward to hearing from you. You may PM if you'd like to learn the specifcs (i.e. the chapter, location, etc.) of my situation.

May you all stay beautiful & brilliant!

Peace, Love, & Blessings,
AJarofGoodies
