room themes?
This year my chapter decided to have everyone have a room theme for Rush so that our house will look nicer. My roomie and I want to pick a really cool theme, but we can't seem to think of any. Other girls in our house are picking themes like "black and white" and "beach" but we want something different.
Do you have any suggestions? what themes do you have in your house?! Any suggestions would be AWESOME!

Ok, the first thing that came to my mind was Sex and the City and have the Samantha room be full of "toys." LOL sorry.

I'm thinking of some themes chapters on my campus have done in the past... Breakfast at Tiffany's, jungle, Dr. Seuss, Winter Wonderland, Preppy/Martha's Vineyard, Peter Pan/London, Boutique theme (cute clothes on hangers, lots of pink), Paris, camping, Woodstock...
33, we also did a "Kappa & the City" one year but it definitely didn't involve "toys" lol

Is there anything you and your roommate both really like? For example, if you both really liked dance, you could do something with that. Or something to show off school spirit (ex: using school colors, mascot, etc)?
I'll let you know if I come up with anything better.

All the rooms in my house have a theme.
Some notable ones:
Greek room (greek pillars etc)
Nautical Room (compass life savers etc)
Sephora Room (has black and white stripes and a lot of perfumes)
Tiffany Box (blue tiffany color walls)
Travel room (has a map with all the places they have been and the KD chapters)
Hollywood room (Stars with peoples names, Movie posters, and a Hollywood sign)

I'm not sure if you can afford to order any of this stuff, but it is super cute! Does Mom sew? Might be able to get ideas and I love the wall art section and monograms.
