Ellen has had sororities on her show many times and has asked a sorority member ON AIR if she could be initiatied -- ZTA, if I remember correctly. (Like, what organization's principles does she NOT embody?)
XO only does alumna initiation in special circumstances (or I would have submitted Ellen a long time ago). If an NPC group is looking for a celebrity alumna initiate, she would be an awesome candidate. Imagine what she could do for a philanthropy? (Best opportunity would be for a chapter in the Los Angeles area and offering Portia de Rossi AI might be a benefit also.)
