Hello everyone,
I have also posted this on the Community Service board, but my hope is that more people might read this here and the more ideas the better!
My organization is wanting to plan a weekend fundraising competition for the fraternities on our campus. We are looking at it lasting 2 days; some type of skit night or other activity on a Saturday evening and field events on Sunday. We are looking at several themes, but really like the idea of a "camp" theme, possibly calling it "Camp Chi O."
If your group or others on your campus have done something like this please share ideas.
What we really need are ideas for the fundraising aspect and field events. Unfortunately, the nature of our philanthropy needs us to take primarily monetary donations
.
We are planning to include the typical events like tug-of-war, but are wanting creative ideas that incorporate into a theme (for example, if using the camp theme, we are planning to have a three-man team tent building contest). And of course, we would like to do activities that the guys are pumped and excited to do!
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
April
