Winter rush with bid and then fall rush at a new school?
I am a freshman at a school in the northeast where we had winter rush. I received a bid from a house but I did not get initiated into the sorority. I am transferring to a big state school for my sophomore year that has fall rush but I do not know how to go about trying to rush a house since it has not been a year since I received a bid. I know if I wait until junior year I probably will not be able to get a bid from anywhere, but I really love greek life and would love to find a sorority that's a good fit for me. Any tips on how I can join a sorority at the new school?

Since you will be at a different school, the one year rule will not apply to you. It only applies which you are still on the same campus.

Did you drop out of your sorority or not accept the bid at all? I assume that you are not a member of that GLO at all now...

Yes. You did not initiate and then you transferred schools. You can sign up for recruitment at this new school. If you have any concerns, you should contact the Greek Life adviser at your new university, who will confirm.

Right... I read and understood that information very clearly the first time you said it. That was not my question.

It doesn't matter if she accepted the bid or not. She can go through recruitment either way.
