I got through over a month of Christmas tunes without once being subjected to another one that I loathe, "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" (again with the animals, but it is just a coincidence). How did anyone ever like this song?

Me! I still vote for these Andy Williams numbers "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" and "Happy Holidays", even though I really like Andy Williams. Those songs suck big ones.

And George Michael’s “Last Christmas”. Unfortunately, and ironically his very “Last Christmas” fell on Christmas Day 2016.

This is mine. The lyrics are awful- scary ghost stories? Jinglebelling? I hate it.

Then to cap it off, there's the line "there'll be scary ghost stories"! (HUHH?) Who tells those at Christmas?

To be fair, scary ghost stories have a long history as part of the season - remember "A Christmas Carol"? - but yeah, not so much today.

Another scary ghost story hater - along with the perennially awful Christmas Shoes.

This year, my least favorite holiday song is "I'll Be Home For Christmas".

The Shriners Yearly Holiday tv commercial featuring that song is literally on every three minutes, sometimes simultaneously on multiple channels as I change channels away from their music.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO! GOOOOOOOO AWAYYYYYY!
