Inter/National GLOs that are not NPC/NIC/NPHC/Service/Music
Hi, I am compiling a list of national greek organizations (social and service) and their "Founder's Day" dates.
I am doing this because some people enjoy wishing "Happy Founders Day" to members of various organizations, and I think having a go-to list would be cool to have.
So far, I have NPC, NPHC, NIC, Inter/national Music, and Inter/national Service Greek letter organizations listed, by day of the year.
I am looking for other inter/national organizations (and umbrella orgs) that may exist. If you belong to a group or have a list of orgs within an umbrella that is not represented in my post, please let me know via PM or on the thread.
Thanks so much!

However, I am not currently gathering info on Professional, Academic or Honor Greek Letter Organizations due to the large number of all of those groups.
I originally started out just looking for info on the NPC groups, but decided to expand. For the most part, I was keeping the list to those orgs falling under the major fraternal umbrellas (NPC, NIC and NPHC), but included Music and Service GLOs because they are larger entities. I have been reminded of the existance of NAFLO and NMGC.
If you were interested in collecting info on Professional, Academic or Honor organizations, you are most welcome to do so.
Thanks again!

From what I understand AOE is like Triangle, in that it is a social organization that only recruits people in the STEM fields. Any AOE members feel free to correct me if wrong.

Is there an umbrella org? If it's part of a group of other similar type organizations, do share. I just am nervous about taking on something that will either never be inclusive enough, or that the list was infinite and that there are hundreds of one-offs (ie. not part of an umbrella).

AOE is social. They're an associate member of Panhel at my undergrad.

Though they may fall under the jurisdiction of the campus Panhellenic group on campus, they are not a member of the NPC. I was wondering if they, as a Professional-Social organization, were part of any umbrella organization nationally with organizations of similar purpose, ie. they are a Professional-Social Engineering org for women; are there Professional-Social groups for other disciplines? Or are they of a singular existance?
As I was saying, I was collecting info on those National GLOs that fall under specific umbrellas/purposes, versus singular entities, of which there are hundreds and hundreds of other GLOs of a Professional, Honor, or Academic nature.

They are a singular organization to the best of my knowledge. There are similar organizations in the NIC. AOE is part of the Professional Fraternity Association, but considers itself a social organization first. I see no reason to add national organizations just because they don't fall under an umbrella like NIC or NPC.

Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. is not under any umbrella. We were founded on April 11, 1997.

Lots of new info to look up. Thanks for the heads up.
I also found a list of other social National Fraternities and Sororities.
The issue about Business/Prof/Academic groups is that there are so many and that the list could go on and on and I hope that I will be able to see an end to this project.
I realize that there are Greek letter organizations of every discipline and affiliation out there, but I am no Bairds and am not trying to be. I appreciate everyone's help.
