I've seen a bunch of them on ebay, and even e-mailed some of the buyers to make sure they were Thetas...they can often buy the NEW pin cheaper from Nationals but what I've heard from them is they like the idea that a Theta loved her pin, and that they can keep it within Theta...each pin has a little history behind it that they are intrigued with...I wanted to buy one, but they got too pricey. One mother had passed down her pin to her President daughter, and wanted an antique one for herself.

I would hope that anyone who would by a badge on Ebay would actually be a memeber of Theta. It would be sad to find someone who wasnt, spending a pretty penny on something that would by almost useless without the sentinmental value that Thetas put on their badges. Very sad , indeed.

Hidden Badge

Hello Ladies!

I was lurking around eBay, and found what I believe is an old Theta badge sort of hidden on eBay. The seller apparently doesn't know what he/she has, and listed it kind of funny. It is Item # 1097908364 if someone wants to check it out.

The auction does not end until 5/4, and it is currently only at $3, so I would not recommend bidding on it until the last minute (maybe the collectors won't find it, and you can "snipe" it for a steal). Incidentally, the name engraved on the back is shown clearly on the auction.

Anyway, if you guys are interested, I hope you get it back!
