Greeks in your workplace

Hi...I have noticed that there are a lot of Greeks at my workplace! Have any of ya'll noticed the same? I think that is great. Many are still very involved with alum chapters!

Here goes my list of GLO's at my work:

Boss: She was an A K A

My other boss was a Tri Delt at a college in Kentucky!

Alpha Phi

Alpha Xi Delta

Sigma Sigma Sigma

AOPi (ME!)

Not sure about any of the guys... I am a teacher and there are a lot more females where I work (elem school)

Greeks unite!!!

I've worked at two elementary schools before. AT one school, the only greek was an 8th grade teacher who was a Theta, and at the other school, the principal was a Sigma Pi at SDSU, and one of the afterschool program workers is a Sigma Chi.

Well, the only ones I know of here are me (ASA), a DZ, and a Beta (he wore a golf shirt w/ a crest one day). There was another ASA here but she left. Oh, and my boss is a Beta Iota Tau CHi LOL.

LMAO 33Girl!!!

I have to remember that! That is funny in a way without being too crass.

I love both of my bosses. They are so cool. Both younger and they understand the younger people just starting out.

My boss is very proud to be an AKA, she has a huge plaque in her office. I think it is great to be so proud of your sisterhood, or brotherhood. A lot of people think that once you graduate college, that is it.

I have had GDI's tell me its childish to still be involved with "college Stuff", but to me it is special...a bond for life!

AOPi

The only way to identify greeks at my workplace is to spot their cars. Which means only the young ones that still have letters on their cars. (Except me ). But I know one really nice girl here she is a Zeta from UT, she has since gotten a new car (no sticker). There is a car in the parking lot with a Texas A&M Chi Omega sticker. I don't know who that is yet. I am always on the lookout, LOL.

During my student teaching, I worked with two supervisinig teachers. Both are greek - one a Pi Phi and one a Alpha Phi. A handful of other teachers are greek also.

One of the girls in the office where I intern is a Theta Phi Alpha.

I know there has to be more Greeks; After all I do work at City Hall....but no one seems to admit it. Although I carry my bag with letters on it and often wear my pin.

LOL, glad to see I'm not the only one who calls it Gamma Delta Iota!

There is a Delta Sigma Phi (Florida Tech, for Stan) at work with me (and by the way, if anyone watched the ABC special on Columbia on Monday, he was apparently interviewed extensively), and I've seen a woman with a Delta Sigma Theta license plate driving around. But so far, that is all that I've noticed.
