Executed man's case reopened

A second victim of the shooting, Wallace Conners, has said he was never contacted by the defense or the prosecution. Conners, now 52, who was wounded in the attack, said the supposed eyewitness was not present at the shooting.

If this were the case, I propose that the police, court, and government officials at the time be tried for murder and executed.

That is so sad. That's why I have a problem with capital punishment. People are fallible and mistakes happen. I cringe to think of the number of people who were put to death for crimes they did not commit.

I think it was Jefferson that said it was far better for 100 guilty me to go free than 1 innocent man to go to jail.

Kinda puts things in perspective of what our founders intended. At least for me it does.
