We just had an awesome shirt. On the back was "Guilty by Assosciation" with a rap sheet that had stuff like "no pledging" "no hazing" "socials" and all the cool stuff about being an AM
I've also seen one that had the letters LCA in a VW shape that said "Brothers Wanted"

Hope that helps and welcome to the board.

Exclamation At Texas-San Antonio...

We usually come up witha rush slogan, and then have a graphic artist create a shirt to match the slogan, and we use their design on our rush fliers, posters, schedules, table tents, etc.

We've used:

Lambda Chi: 90 years of being better than you.

Lambda Chi: All of what you want, and everything you need.

Lambda Chi Alpha - Spirited Tradition.

Lambda Chi Alpha. Because Actions Speak Louder than Words.

While some fraternities are busy balancing themselves, we prefer to focus on our brotherhood. (Used when our rivalry with the Sig Ep's was at its most fervent.)

Because Everything other than #1 is just the first place loosers bracket.

Lambda Chi Alpha:
Where everybody knows your name.

Deep in the heart of Texas.

Associate With the Best.

Lambda Chi Alpha, first. (We were 1st in grades, 1st in sports, 1st in community service, 1st in numbers, 1st in most members involved on campus, etc.)

Choose Lambda Chi. Your Girlfriend Already Has.

If I think of anymore, I 'll post them.

Welcome to the boards.

ZAX.

Don't just do it.....Do it right
RUSH
Lambda Chi Alpha

i have a ton of flyer designs, if you want me to send you the files of them let me know.

wdemar1@gl.umbc.edu

One of the LCA's here wanted to make a shirt for sweethearts and other girls that hung out/helped the chapter here. The shirt was supposed to say "If I were a guy, I'd be a Lambda Chi"

The shirt hasn't been made yet, but I'm pretty sure it will be soon !

I wish I could have gotten one of those Dick shirts...When I heard about them I thought they were cool...
This semester I think we are going with "Don't Pledge With The Rest...Associate With The Best"
My gf likes the "See Dick Rush" ones that are usually on ebay...too bad our delta won't do one like that...he wants to be "classy" and "tasteful"...BAH!

Unhappy

Gentlemen,

I would suggest that you contact any of your Brothers who attended an Impact Leadership session. Our shirts should not be offensive to anyone. Don't forget that people other than prospective members will see these shirts (university staff, faculty, neighbors, etc.). These examples of shirts just reinforce bad stereotypes about Greeks.

Remember, what we think and say (our Intent) should equal what we do (our Impact). If we hold the value of respect for others closely, as our ritual teaches us, our actions and our shirts should match that value.

We are being watched when we least expect it...we should act accordingly.

ZAX,
Eric

Just to add,
On the girls prefer our dick shirt, we had Dick Tracey on them as well. No one was insulted by it.and more girls own the shirt then guys, so I it wasn't a problem. If we thought it would have bothered anyone or to have anyone look at us in a different way or to have it affect our reputation for being a great chapter @ UCF,then it would have never been created. Just wanted to set the record straight.

I'm sure if it was really bad, then Brother Saunders would have squashed it. :- )

i'm not sure of the exact wording but the chapter at my school had fliers that said something like,
'in beginning all men were created equal. in 1XXX, (sorry i don't know the year you were founded!) that all changed.'

it usually takes a second for people to figure it out but if you put it on t-shirts then maybe someone will strike up a convo~

btw, that was one of the best frat slogans i've seen at our school (right up there with SAE's t-shirt with naked girls each holdin up a letter that ended up spelling RUSH SAE. )

i'm kidding about it being up there.

Lightbulb a few shirt ideas i came up with...

all these shirts are kelly green and have "Lambda Chi Alpha" in gold ont he front then "Spring Rush 2007" below that.

the back of one just has a picture of the cross and crescent and underneath it says "No cocky slogans necessary"

another has the same graphic and it says "Not FOUR years!" then at the bottom it says "FOR LIFE!"

another shirt idea says "friends come and go but brothers last forever"

this semester we are actually making a shirt that has a picture of a lil kid at a doctors office and the nurse is smoking hot and hes staring at her. at the bottom it says "some people are jsut born with it!" its actually a remake of an old shirt one of our guys got from flordia i think.
