Liked most of my classes. The only one I didn't like was AP English, and that was because of the teacher. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be AP History or AP Government.

College:
Favorite: Presidential History (Professor Dallek was great) or Sports Journalism (professor was a writer for SI, so his advice was excellent)
Least favorite: Sociology - the professor wasn't very good; I believe it was the last class he taught for the college.

Haha, think there's something about journalism majors and sociology that just doesn't mix?

High School:
Favorite- Psychology
Least Favorite- Stupid filler classes. I only needed one credit to graduate, and they made me stay for 4. So I took Child Development. Worst. Class. Ever.

College
Favorite- Western Civ I. Made me realize that I really did want to be a history major. I love history too much to not take classes in it.
Least Favorite- Econ 101. Our professor was from India (couldn't understand him), senile, and hated women! He would call on me (or any other girl), I'd tell him the right answer, he'd tell me it was wrong. He would call on a guy, who would give him my answer verbatim, and the prof would tell him yes and how smart he was. I went about 6 times after the first day, took the tests, didn't listen to him in class (he was really confusing) and passed with a B.

High school

favorite: anatomy/physiology, calculus, accounting
least favorite: phys. ed with Mr. Bate (a bad, bad, bad man )

College

favorites: mycology, plant physiology lecture, french fairy tales, dinosaurs, Latin 101, prehistory of the NW coast (mainly for the field trips), intro to microeconomics, foundations in evolution

least favorites: o chem, plant physiology lab, principles of ecology, molecular cell biology, pretty much every business course that I took

the moral of the story is: a good teacher can make a class, while a bad teacher can ruin one's interest in a subject FOREVER

High school:

Favorite: All computer science classes, chemistry and AP physics (had the same teacher for both, he was great!), pre-calculus (another great teacher).

Least favorite: AP English, hands down. The teacher worked us like dogs, with no respect for the fact that most of us were taking 3-4 other AP classes plus 2-3 other senior-level classes. And she had this thing for Tess of the d'Urbervilles. I have a thing for Tess of the d'Urbervilles too - it's called nausea.

College:

Favorite: Holography. That was a fun class. We learned about the principles behind holography, and had a weekly lab. My lab group rocked. The only problem came with my final project - I was trying to make an animation, but my master hologram plate broke so when I gave my final presentation, my topic was Murphy's Law. I still got an A+

Least favorite:
- Circuits and Electronics, a required course for all CS majors. Resistors, transformers, capacitors, inductors, all that fun stuff. We had a sadistic professor. For example, one day there were 5 minutes left in lecture, so he said, "We have a few minutes, so I'm going to talk a bit about some research I'm doing." Since it wasn't on the curriculum, nobody took notes... However, it was on the test.
- Mechatronics, an elective I signed up for. Two lectures in, the prof took me aside and told me he was going to fail me if I didn't drop the class, because I was a CS major, not EE or ME. I hope he didn't get tenure.
- Philosophy, a humanities class (we had to take a certain # of humanities classes). We debated controversial issues like abortion. There were weekly papers. The problem was that if you didn't agree with the professor, he docked you a full letter grade!

AP English - the teacher was really awsome.
AP Calc - The best teacher I ever had.

Labs for Electromagnetics and for Circuit Analysis - hands on lab. I built and antenna and a light sensor.

Least Favorite:
Physics 1 and 2 for engineers- way to boring
Electomagnetics (Lecture) - just a little to hard. The prof. was great but this class was hell
