Unhappy Gamma Tau Alumna Injured

Please pass this on through the Alpha Gam network . . .

Kathy Strong Anderson, Gamma Tau (84), was in a serious four wheeler accident on Saturday, February 22. She was LifeLighted to Atlanta Medical Center (Old Georgia Baptist) with serious head injuries. According to her brother, she suffered severe facial injuries as well. She has been upgraded to critical condition.

Please pray for Kathy and her family. She is now working as a
Pharmacist for Kroger and living in Temple, GA. If you would like her address, please send me a PM.

Unfortunately, she was not wearing a helmet. Let this be a lesson to all of us and wear a helmet.

I will pass on any updates.

Update. . . she is now home from the hospital. She is to see a plastic surgeon on Monday, 3/3/03. As with any head
injury, time will tell. Keep her and her family in your thoughts and
prayers.

I'll tell y'all more when I know it.

Lynn

not to be morbid - what kind of facial injuries? I've had extensive maxilliofacial/reconstructive surgeries due to an auto accident several years ago and I can pass along EXCELLENT surgeons' names that made me look better than I did before....

Her and her family will be in my thoughts
