I am really interested in this...so does this mean that they just hold out a part of your cheack and pay you that in the summer or do you actually get paid for two months of vacation time?

Yes, a portion is withheld but a lot of teachers I know are on a 10 month plan since we don't get paid an awful lot. Most do something else during the summer like teach summer school, work at day camps, etc. for pay during the summer.

Cool

I am dying to go somewhere before my kids drive me crazy this summer. My plan is to go to a beach "Stella Style". I'm leaving the boyfriend behind because I was told that you don't take sand to the beach!
