does anyone have vending machines in their chapter house? are you turning a profit?
is it a worth while investment?

We didn't have one in the house but there was one in the parking lot of the investment co. next to us, basically 6 steps out our door.

They had to be making tons of $$$ from us because we used it ALL the time. The key is to make it cheaper than your average machine - if a regular machine on campus is 60 cents make it 50 cents on yours. You would not believe how jazzed people get about saving 10 cents on a can of pop.

We have a vending machine in our chapter house. We don't use it as a fundraiser, it's kept up by a vending company. I would think that it would be a good way to raise money or the vending company wouldn't bother.

there is a house, not a fraternity or sorority house, that has an Mars/M&M machine right outside their house - you would not believe how many people line up outside this thing after the bars close and people are walking home... its hilarious! they make serious change
