Panhellenic Question

Does anyone know about this 30 day dissaffliation resolution for Formal Recruitment? What do your chapters say about this resolution? If you do not like it is there a way to let NPC know that you do not like it?

Yeah, the recruitment counselors. My sororities NPC rep says that there is a 30 day dissaffilation process. Meaning that the recruitment counselors would only dissaffliate from their sororities for only 30 days. At my university, the recruitment counselors go from may until the last day of formal recruitment. A lot of the women who are chosen to be recruitment counselors are up at school for the summer so how would that benefit them if they continue to wear their letters around campus instead of being a non biase representative for formal recruitment.

As you can tell I do not like this resolution and I pretty sure that you have not heard of this resolution. I just heard about this 3 days ago.

So is the resolution saying that recruitment counselors are only allowed to disaffiliate for 30 days max, or that they must disaffiliate for at least 30 days, with additional amounts of time determined by Panhellenic at each college?
If it's the former, that sounds a bit silly, like ruining the point of having disaffiliated RCs in the first place. It would be very easy then, to figure out what sorority the RCs are in. Especially at school with deferred rush: don't their RCs usually stay disaffiliated for the entire fall semester?

This is what I was wondering as well. At my school we have deferred recruitment and the recruitment counselors only disaffiliate for two weeks (which is very pointless in my opinion). If there is an NPC rule stating that they must be disaffiliated for at least a month, I would love to know about it.
