I am having dinner on Thursday with a pledge sister I haven't seen since we left school in 1977!

It turned into an annual event. Last Thursday was the annual dinner, and I woke up on Thursday as excited as I was on bid day. We actually stood around outside the restaurant after dinner singing DG songs!

Last year was the first time I had seen my grand-big since 1974.

Our chapter has a reunion every 5 years. It is a great opportunity to reconnect with all members (both older and younger). These have been great fun. Perhaps you should consider expanding these dinners and doing something with the larger group. The excitement that you are feeling would be compounded. Our events are fabulous.

We actually do that too.

We did one about 5 years ago in DC. We're in the planning stages for the next one at EPCOT in fall 2018. Since moving far away from the school is the norm for people from this school, we're trying to do them all over. After 2018, next one will be on the west coast.

AND, our chapter's 75th anniversary is 2019, so we'll likely be in Pittsburgh for that.
