Romantic Movies!

I was just on another message board, which started lists of both men and women's favorite Romantic Movies. Let's have some fun, and name the movies that you (with or without your SO) find hopelessly romantic. Feel free to explain, if you'd like.

1) When Harry Met Sally.
"When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible." *le sigh*

2)The Notebook
I don't even need an explanation. If you've seen the movie, you know why.

oh I just have to post in this thread....hope you ladies don't mind....

for me it has to be

1) Notting Hill
Because it shows all phases of love, the heartbreak and the finding of love again. How can you not love that...besides there's Hugh Grant

So I have a huge long list but I'm only going to name like two at a time.

Titanic
I love everything about this movie. Maybe its because I'm a huge history buff, I'm not sure. I love the storyline. I love the characters. I love the actors (come on girls Billy Zane and Leonardo Dicaprio are nice eye candy). I love the music. Even to this day, 8 years later, I still bawl my eyes out.

Sense and Sensibility
Again, what do I say about this movie. I love everything about it. I love Emma and Kate in thier roles. I adore Alan Rickman's character. I just love this movie.

Crashing on your orum...
The Phantom of the Opera
In my opinion, the greatest love story ever told. I love the movie and the Broadway show so much. It's just very beautiful and the music just gets under your skin. Can't wait till it comes out on DVD on Tuesday.

Moulin Rouge I LOVE this movie. While it is quirky, the underlying theme of love overcoming all odds always gets me. Plus the whole "Romeo and Juliet tragedy" element is great as well! ::sigh:: Totally going to watch that this weekend! (Oh and the soundtrack rocks as well)

8) Dr. Zhivago

The passion between Yuri & Lara ("Mother Russia") is so intense, it burns!

I love the song Unchained Melody. I love Whoopi Goldberg in this movie.

Phantom of the Opera-haven't seen the movie, can't wait. But we took our kids to the play at the Fox Theatre 3 times-we bought the CD and they knew all the words to every song at ages 8 and 12. Now our 9 year old listens to it in the car with me-but I don't know if I can let her see the movie-I'll have to watch it first and decide.

A Knight's Tale-Heath Ledger is to die for!!

And, in the same vein-First Knight-Richard Gere-ah!
