Unhappy Phi Sig Passing... so sad

Girls, I'm so sorry to put a damper on this board, however on the on the 1st day of this month we lost a sister who belonged to the Epsilon Eta chapter at Stony Brook. Her name was Sam Lech. She suffered from diabetes and a stomach virus caused her body do go into shock form the insulin.

My chapter which is the Epsilon Kappa chapter and the Epsilon Eta chapter have decided to sell grey/silver ribbons in order to fundraise. Some of the money will go to her family to pay for funeral arrangements and the rest will go to the Diabetes Foundation.

I invite all chapters to do the same. Please please please! Her family doesn't have much money and they could
really use our help. It is short notice but, please, let stick together. This is the address where you can send the money :

EPSILON ETA
PSS, PO Box 177
Setauket, NY 11733

Thanks in advance...

Dear Sisters,

It is with great sadness that I ask you to join me in keeping our Theta
Zeta chapter sisters in your thoughts and prayers. On 4/19, Shanna
Gaulin of Theta Zeta chapter died as the result injuries suffered in a
car accident. Shanna graduated from Keene College in May, 2002.

Love in our bond,

that is so sad.... my thoughts and prayers go out to Sam and Shana's families, friends, and chapter sisters.

KC, i also wanted to tell you i think it's wonderful that you and the other women of Epsilon Kappa and Epsilon Eta have decided to raise money for the Diabetes Foundation. My mother and grandmother both have it, so I am very aware of how dangerous it is and I think there is nothing that could serve her memory better than to raise money and awareness for her cause. our semester is over but i will definetly see if we can find some extra money to make a donation.

again, stay strong, love in our bond.
