Mike Tyson's last stand?

What a week for 80's icons. First Michael Jackson's case, and then last weekend was (perhaps) the end for Mike Tyson.

Did anyone see the fight? Do you think he's done for good?

From what I saw, he just about gave up. At the end of the fight and in the post-fight press conferences, he looked like a completely defeated human being. That said, I don't think he'll stop fighting; apparently he's about 20-30 million in debt, and that alone will bring him back to the ring at some point.

He said his heart hasn't been in it since 1990, which sounds about right.

I can't imagine he'll ever be given another fight worth more than this one, which I think was $5 mil - I haven't heard the PPV results, but no one I knew got the fight, and we were at one of the biggest sports bars in the first world . . . and THEY didn't even purchase it, instead showing Riddick Bowe on FSN.

He'll need to do something insane to ever fight again, at least for purses that matter. He's completely through - now he can just kick it with his pigeons and fade into Bolivian.

"One morning I woke up and found my favorite pigeon, Julius, had died I was devastated and was gonna use his crate as my stickball bat to honor him. I left the crate on my stoop and went in to get something and I returned to see the sanitation man put the crate into the crusher. I rushed him and caught him flush on the temple with a titanic right hand he was out cold, convulsing on the floor like a infantile retard."
