Cool Music Lovers, Post your likes and dislikes here!

It was SO time for a new one of these!!!

I just wanted to tell yall... I found my Fred Hammond CD!!!! I forget what the name of the CD is, but it's part of a 2 disc set, and they are white... well, anyway, when I got laid off from a job back in 2000, I thought I'd left it in the cdrom. Well, when I was cleaning out the garage, I found him!!!!! I was SO happy!!! He was my morning gospel music, DAILY. I love that CD!!

On a sadder note, I lost my TLC cd. Fanmail. I am hoping it's at my sister's, if not, I'm so sad. I had JUST gotten up the gumption to listen to it and not be sad about Lisa, and now it's gone.

There's a cd I really want by Prince. It's called Somebody's Somebody. I think this is one of the best songs Prince ever put out. I also want Patti Austin and Jeffrey Osbourne's Greatest Hits. You all might think I'm all for listening to this but I'm not.. I get sick of rap and todays music.
Is anyone familiar with the jazz group Pieces of a Dream ?

I will never ever buy a Jennifer Lopez cd?

I'm familiar with POAD. They had a song in the 80's that was quite popular on R&B stations.

Hey Ideal, you might be talking about "Pages Of Life". One disc if the studio version of the songs, the second disc is most of the same songs live.

Has anyone heard her new song ?

Lil' Kim's Goes To 'Hollyhood' In November
Wed Sep 25,12:57 PM ET

(9/25/02, 1 p.m. ET) -- Lil' Kim is set to release her third album, Hollyhood, November 26 on Queen Bee/Atlantic Records. Her buzz single "What's The Word?" reached Number 12 last week on Billboard's Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart.

Lil' Kim explained the album title to LAUNCH, "Hollyhood, isn't it perfect? I'm here in Hollywood. Just Hollywood. And I'm from the hood. So you get a girl from the hood, and I'm here doing exactly what I always dreamed. And it's also the name of my clothing line."

Lil' Kim's last album, Notorious K.I.M., was released in 2000, and her debut, Hard Core, came out in 1996. She recently wrapped filming the female western film Guns And Roses in Southern California. The movie also stars Stacy Dash, Bobby Brown, Monica Calhoun, LisaRaye, and Marie Matiko.

Question

Hey, does anyone know anything about Heather Headley? I really like the song "He Is", but I haven't heard anything else from her. I think I'll download some stuff this weekend.

You know...they never show their faces on their albums!! Do you know of any albums they've put out with the bands identity on it!

new "look"?

has anyone seen LL's new video Luv U Better? Anyway, does he not look "different"? There is something about him that isn't the same (as far as face). Has he gone under the knife?

Meshell

I enjoy Luaren, Meshell, India, Jill, Angie, Luther, old R&B.

Dislike 95% of everything else especially rap, but oddly enough I like Ememen.
