Greek paraphernalia?
Would anyone be able to tell me of any websites that has nice paraphernalia or is it best to wait until I attend some conferences to get some things?

Congratulations!
I used to maintain a list of a bunch of places to get paraphernalia but I reconfigured my website and don't have that page anymore.
What type of para are you looking for primarily? Jackets/shirts/sweaters? Wood products? Jewelry?
I'm honestly surprised you weren't showered with a bunch of gifts already! When I crossed APhiA in Spring 03, I got the basic crossing gifts and I waited about a month. My friends chipped in and got me a combo package from adgreek.com. And then I went to University Apparel in College Park, MD and bought my first handful of items (an umbrella and a shirt, I think).
I didn't find too many things to be cheaper at conferences except t-shirts and eventually you get sick of them and want to turn them into a quilt. (And yes, there is a site for that, too)

Thanks so much! I did get some gifts but it was mainly keychains, pins, and tag frames, a lot of small stuff. I am looking for things like an umbrella, checkbook cover and cute t-shirts. Maybe a jacket just to have for special events.

If the Greekchat AKAs do not respond fast enough for your neo 'nalia needs ( ), ask your chapter members whether AKA has licensed vendors. Delta has licensed vendors and I only buy from them. The licensed vendors also tend to be the vendors at conventions and whose shops tend to supply 'nalia for the new lines that cross.

In that case, I recommend:
http://www.joetoga.com/
http://www.collegecrib.com/
Or any of the licensed vendors located on the AKA website.
I personally go back and forth about whether I will support licensed vendors or not. It's up to you.

Joe Toga has a lot of stuff. I've shopped there before and was impressed.

I felt the same way when I first crossed. Then I learned some reasons why there are licensed vendors and the benefits of patroning them.
That does not mean that I will not occasionally, and if absolutely necessary, buy items from nonlicensed vendors or from people who make items from home and are not an actual vendor.
It means that the first place I go for Delta 'nalia (and NPHC 'nalia, in general) is a licensed vendor. They aren't hard to find. The ones I patron have good prices and good items. And I tend not to have to worry about seeing crazy items like thongs with Delta symbols on them.

One thing that NPHC and NPC are absolutely the same in.
