Philanthropy Day Help

Hey Ladies!

I'm in charge of our Philanthropy Day for recruitment with another sister, and we need help figuring out what ADPi should wear. Our theme is The Glamorous Life of an ADPi, and the colors are red, black, white, and gold. We were thinking red shoes and cuffed jeans, but can't figure out a cute shirt. A few choices were black shirts with red belts, red shirts with black belts, or gold shirts, which would be really hard to find. We wanted to incorporate the Ronald McDonald colors, but it's just not working. What ideas do you ladies have?

Just a few questions

1) When is recruitment?
2) What is your schools policy on clothing? (I ask because I know some schools will actually fine chapters if more than a certain number of women are wearing the exact same item. Like you couldn't tell all the women to go buy rocket dog flip flops (for example)).
3) Frills or no frills rush?

My only advice SKIP THE HEELS!!!!!!!!

Once the other questions are answered I can offer up some suggestions.

Recruitment is in January, but we need to have everything more or less finalized by the 16th. Technically, we can't ask girls to go out and buy anything, but most of the girls already have red heels from last year's recruitment, and most of our new ones have them as well. We have 5 parties that day, and yeah, our feet hurt, but the outfits were soooo cute. It's pretty much a no frills recruitment.

Can you guys buy shirts that say ADPi on them? ASU just finished recruitment and while their bottoms and shoes all looked different (but in whatever color they were told) they had the same shirts. All had ADPi on them somehow and they were the fitted tee's. They looked really cute. Can you guys do fitted tee's?

If you can I would say, go with a red (or whatever color you choose) fitted tee with ADPi on it.

If you have Chi Omega on your campus, skip the McDonalds colors. Check with your Recruitment Director- she had to approve your plans in April- what did you have written in those? If you change it, remember to check with her.

Maybe try just wearing a black shirt and accessorizing with red and yellow?

Thanks everyone...I like the idea of wearing black shirts and accessorizing with red (we'd probably skip the yellow for that). As for asking our recruitment director, I think the only thing we had to have approved months ago was what song we'd be using for our opening dance. I could be wrong, though.
