GLO History Pins

I compiled a Pinterest board about fraternity and sorority history. It's at http://www.pinterest.com/glohistory/ if anyone is interested.

Saw your Pinterest posts. They are wonderful and insightful "pins" thanks! Just an FYI, under the section about sorority pins, you have a pin labeled as an Alpha phi sorority pin, the one with the blue Alpha....that pin is actually from the old high school fraternity called Apha Phi. It was founded in 1870 at the Colgate academy in NY, but didn't really take off as a true high school fraternity until 1876.

Heres another pic I found. Looks to be an old style Alpha Phi pin, no date or engraving.

you can use this for your pinterest pages.

With all due respect to you, Tom, Badgeguy has quite the history with many GC members. A history of lying, dirty dealing, stabbing members in the back over pin deals and double crossing members. He USES this list to innocently ask GLO members about our badges in order to sell them. His reputation with many very respected members of this forum is that he cannot be trusted.

I hate lying liars who lie, and Badgeguy has been caught in some doosies!

Still trying to cypher this post out.

Why and how did he screw people?

Just trying to get to truth!

Is this ATZtheta in a ghost post?

I never had a problem with badgeguy, just loved hid info on Badge History which I found very interesting and spent time getting it for GCers on site.

That seems, he went out of his way for GC Site.

Thanks, just a question!

No, AZTheta and thetalady are two different people, from two different chapters, living in two different parts of the country. Definitely not a "ghost" poster, as you say.

Suffice it to say that enough went on that BG was banned. I don't believe that the mods take banning of any member lightly so there must have been enough documented evidence for it to happen.

I am glad that you enjoyed the history that he knew, but please just let this issue go. It is deep, complex and involves many different GC members, over time, and over multiple different situations. Better to just focus on who is here, not who is not.

Considering AZTheta's wit & sense of humor, I am flattered to be compared to her :-) We are Theta sisters, but not the same person.

Tom, I realize that you never had a problem with Badgeguy. Other GC members have. If they wanted you to know specifics, they would share them with your directly. I would not divulge details of someone elses's experience with him. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

Since the other thread asking these questions has already been locked as inappropriate, you might just want to let this drop now or this thread will be locked, too.
