Indiana triad completed
Three things about Indiana Univ. and the lovely hills of Bloomington have always enthralled us alumni, and now the third and final part has been recorded for the ages in film.
One great thing about Indiana is Crest toothpaste, tested by the student body, and even immortalized by a Mad Magazine cartoon. Every week, at the supermarket, seeing Crest on the shelf reminds us of our ties to Bloomington.
Another great thing is the Little 500 - the World's Greatest College Weekend - immortalized in the film "Breaking Away" which still shows on TV every year.
Now, the Triad is complete, with the campus' Kinsey Institute of Sexuality immortalized for the ages in the film "Kinsey." This film, with a little bit too much male and female nudity, isn't likely to be on TV except late at night on cable.
During my days on campus, the Kinsey bunch was rumored to have the world's largest collection of pornography, and the new film appears to validate that.
And somehow - I know not how - the credits list "University of Indiana", a big screw-up.
Hope you'all enjoy the film.
