Smile Pi Phi Gifts

Ooo ooo! I just went to a sale at Proffitt's and there for half price were these precious angel picture holders and *their gowns were wine and blue*!

I snatched up all 3 and will use one now and save the rest for gifts, including 1 for my future Pi Phi daughter, whichever one of them that might be.

Side note: this elderly lady next to me said, "Would you by any chance be a Pi Phi? I was an ADPi at Mizzou!"

Anyway--anyone have neat Pi Phi gift finds?

I am always on the look out.. but was even more when I was planning on taking a little the next year.

I was in the airport once and saw the cutest white bear with nice white feathered wings and a halo. It was so cute. I just had to buy it for my little.

My big sister had some excellent finds.. she got me a pin box with just by chance an angel on the top.

... how neat that the angels had wine and blue gowns on.. now if only proffits was closer than bristol to me.. i actually driving home yesterday wasnt too far away from there..

Every year, the new member class gives something to the chapter...ie, the fall class of 2002 gave a big screen TV to the chapter..2001 gave new candleholders...

this year, one of our girls came up with a really cool idea. Her mom, who is a Pi Phi, was in Colorado and there was this guy who makes glass angels(not sure what he makes them out of), but they are very rare and he only makes 25 a year. We contacted him and he is designing 2 blue and maroon ones just for us..with pi phi somewhere on it..which i thought was really neat.

At initiation this past weekend out chapter president mentioned that there was a store (I want to say it is in Windsor, ON - but I can't remember) called The Angel store (I'm pretty sure that was the name) anyway, she said it sold nothing but angels. I want to check it out because I'm sure there are some excellent gift finds there.

Check out Oriental Trading. The company has a lot of cute angel figures, especially the crystal angel figurine for $4.

I actually found a candy store in Indy with wine & blue M&Ms and other sorority items. The wine & blue M&Ms are a great cheap gift for any Pi Phis on your list!

That's so cute. Does the store have a website?

I always find great Pi Phi gifts right after Christmas during all of the sales!

I love to give Pi Phis Gap perfume/lotion/etc. in the Heaven scent. I gave my first little sister a big basket of Heaven stuff during Big Sis Week!

I got the most fabulous gift from Terry's Village last year! It's a perpetual calendar with 12 wooden angel figurines on it and each angel is wearing an outfit of her month--i.e., the August angel has on a watermelon dress, March's has a green shamrock dress, etc.

I bet you can see it at www.terrysvillage.com ...a lot of their catalog is online.

I found some cute and inexpensive angels figures at Hallmark (blown glass with each holding an instrument) and at Cracker Barrel.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't...although you could probably find the colored M&Ms at a candy store that sold individual colors. Sometimes the ones in malls have the colored M&Ms...it's just hard to find wine & blue!
