Tri Delta Falls from House Window (U. Calif. - Irvine)

She is apparently recovering, although she suffered a head wound. The incident is being investigated.

From the student paper:

http://horus.vcsa.uci.edu/article.php?id=3706

Excerpt:

"According to a witness who wished to remain anonymous, the victim was unconscious after her fall.

'There was blood splattered around where she fell,' the witness said.

Reed said that 'she had sustained a head wound, but she’s fine, and she’s recovering.' "

OK, I refuse to post my usual comment that one of the biggest causes of fraternity (in this case, sorority) insurance claims is "falls from high places."

I also won't say that almost all of them are alcohol related.

I'm not posting this, because someone pointed out that I point this out every time someone falls from a high place.

Just though I'd point that out.

Guess it's not as important as it was the first time I posted it -- especially for those who might not have read any of the other threads on falls from high places.

Those are comments that I expect you to make! And, obviously, not everybody has heard yet, or else it wouldn't keep happening. So please DA, tell them again.

Wow! I really hope she recovers okay and that the circumstances are determined an accident, and not alcohol induced.
