The Phoenix is looking better - your thoughts?

I just wanted to post some kudos to the editor - I think the most recent (Winter?) issue is one of the best one in a long time. Great articles about ASAs in civil service - including a really moving article about an ASA who is now "protecting and serving" as part of the police.

It seems like there were more chapter and alumni pictures as well.

I still wish there were actual chapter reports to read like there used to be instead of the emphasis on pictures. Caption =/= report.

I agree, but my guess is that it's easier to get the undergrads to send pics rather than write-ups.

If they can't write 4 measley paragraphs about what the sorority is doing, they shouldn't hold the office. Sorry but I think that's ridiculous.

I agree that it is a beautifully designed publication. We should be proud of it! I'm familiar with many "in house" magazines, and ours is excellent.

At the same time, I agree with 33girl on the photo to word ratio. Whoa. When I was first editor for the alumnae chapter, we had to submit actual words. But I enjoy every issue nonetheless.
