Philanthropy Ideas

Well i was gunna post this in a general forums, but i figured why not just ask the best. We (Ohio ETA-Miami University) recently had our rechartering banquet last weekend and our new house will be completed in May, so i am proud to announce that sig ep has returned to Miami!!! Now with that out of the way, i need to ask if anyone has any great philanthropy ideas. We want to do a huge event with other sororities and fraternities on campus to raise money for youth aids, and i was wondering if anyone had anything for me. Currently the big events on Miami's campus are DZ's Putting on the hits (like a dance competition), DG's Anchor Splash (hilarious synchronized swimming event), KA's Bump-it-Thump-it (Volleyball tourney), among others. So i am looking for something huge that we can do that will involve all greeks on campus. I can write a ton more but that'll just be a waste of time, so if u have anything for me just reply or IM me @ Kbpsports

I had an idea for a philanthropy a while ago, everybody seemed to like it:

A sorority cookoff. Get a bunch of sororities to make their best dish and sell plates to relatives, friends, professors etc. at a big dining hall. The people that buy plates can judge the food (for the competition). For better coordination and less confusion, you could have a different sorority serving each night. I bet it wouldnt be too hard to have the fraternities get involved either...

VDBL, Matt
