The future princess of Great Britain is a KKG

How did I not know this? I’ve been watching “Suits” since day 1.

I just read that in an article and thought "Maybe she can pull some strings for Princess Margaret after all these years!"

edited: got the wrong Princess, and sadly Margaret has already passed.

Not sure how you referenced that from this article? Is Stefano a GC member? Or maybe Meghan was the KKG poster listed as from Great Britain who posted in GC for awhile?

Pardon for the crash, right after their engagement, and I heard she's a KKG, my first thought was of the book A Southern Belle Primer: Why Princess Margaret (Paris Hilton 2nd edition) Will Never Be a Kappa Kappa Gamma.

What’s Kappa’s legacy policy? Will Princess Charlotte (William and Kate’s daughter) be considered a legacy since she will be Meghan’s niece?

Legacies can be a daughter, sister, granddaughter or great-granddaughter. I don't know of any sorority who considers a niece as a legacy.

Actually at least two NPC sororities consider nieces as legacies, Sigma Kappa and Alpha Xi Delta.

Theta Phi Alpha does, as well, as of our most recent convention in 2016.

I doubt that legacy status would be needed!

I could be wrong, but the last I heard, Kappa had one of the less-inclusive legacy policies. I'll bow to the Kappas about it, however.

BTW, I doubt that Meghan will ever be a princess. She'll will be much like Prince William's wife, a Duchess. Should she and Prince Harry have children, they will be princes and princesses, however.

I'm not a Kappa, but I looked at their website to find what their policy is - I also looked up the polices of the sororities of all the women in my family which includes Kappa. Per your comment, Kappa actually does not have a particularly restrictive policy, however, that is true of Chi Omega.

Legacy policies per their national website:

Kappa Kappa Gamma: Great-granddaughter, granddaughter, daughter or sister

Chi Omega: Daughter or sister

Tri Delta: Daughter, sister, step-daughter, step-sister

Kappa Delta: Granddaughter, daughter, sister

Gamma Phi: Great-granddaughter, granddaughter, daughter, sister. (Step- daughter and step-sister also if the relative requests it).
