One of the alums at Beta Province meeting two weeks ago was just telling me a story. She said at Convention one year, she sat next to a nice woman at lunch, and they had an enjoyable conversation.
When she got up at the end of the meal, her friends all ran to her and asked "What's she like?" She answered "What's who like?" They told her that the nice woman with "Helen" on her nametag was Helen Walton. Since the alum was from a small town with no WalMart, someone had to explain to her why the nice lady named Helen was so important. Mrs. Walton had acted just like any other convention attendee, and the alum was glad that she didn't know who she was, and had treated her like a sister and not a celebrity.
