My roommates and I NEVER missed her show. When we went to Minneapolis to a convention, we had to see the place where she threw her hat. Mary was such a fresh, spontaneous presence on TV. She was/is a treasure...

Mary Tyler Moore was that rarest of ladies. All the men thought she was gorgeous and all the ladies liked her. Pretty rare combination.

Mary Tyler Moore's production company gave us so many funny, thought-provoking tv programs. Thankfully most are in current reruns.

Incidental remembrance of MTM: When Lisa Molella was Miss New York 1989 she stated on her Miss America contest info forms that she once lived next door (in New York State) to Mary Tyler Moore.
