AM ceremony
This question was brouht up in our kappa session tonight. I was thinking that the brothers from north of the border could help me out a little. The question goes like this: "If we were in Canada, would there be a Canadian flag instead of a flag of the United States on the delta table during the ceremony?".

Flags
At a minimum there would be a Canadian flag, and possibly a US flag if there was a US citizen in that particular chapter. Likewise here in the states we're supposed to do the same thing. By logical extension, we might need a Vietnamese or Mexican flag here in Southern California if we had associates or members from those nations.

Actually in Toronto we keep the flags (Can, LCA, US) displayed on the wall behind the Alpha in plain sight of the AMs.... the reason for this is that when we mention patriotism we can point at one or both flags depending on whether the AMs are solely Canadians or there are Americans too (we had about 1 American AM a year for the past 6). As for the delta we actually place a white cloth over it.......

I heard that rumor too.... however the ELC was just up here in Toronto and he hadn't heard anything about it.
IHQ was probably trying to get a feel for how many Alumni were still kicking around in Calgary.... to see if they have a support base for a possible re-colonization.
