as some of you may know, i plan on rushing this fall at LSU. i have read through these forums and realized that recs are very important, but i only know ONE alumna from a sorority that is actually at my school. 10 sororities...1 rec...how do i go about finding other recs? can active members write them or do they have to be alums? are they necessary?

...you should try and contact the nearest alum Panhellenic association and see how they handle recs -- they should be able to help.
