The Norman Trasncript is reporting that one of the women in the video is a Tri Delta. The other is apparently unaffiliated.

It has been confirmed by Executive Office that one of the women is a member of the OU chapter, and I can only hope that she is going to be removed. There is no place in Tri Delta for racists.

DeltaEmi, I imagine it's likely she'll be expelled from Tri Delta, and she may not even get to continue her education at OU.

The precedent for dealing with this sort of thing at the University of Oklahoma may have been set in 2015 when a racist SAE basement song found its way to social media. The members participating were immediately expelled from the school and the chapter was permanently banned from campus.
Of course, there's a distinction here which isn't unimportant. The SAE basement song was sung on a bus with many people standing by, not objecting. This is a video filmed by one member and one unaffiliated woman in their own private space. To Tri-Delta's credit, they are out in front of this thing. Their President has made the rounds with the local media already.

Also, to Tri Delta's credit, a DDD member is the one who videotaped and outed the brothers singing a racist song. That took a ton of courage.

Saw a couple of tweets this morning from OU football players and and had no idea to what they were referring. Caught up now. How stupid and disgusting.
