Smile Economy & Rush

My friend is a freshman at a university and did rush this past Fall, and is now a sister of the Sigma Kappa sorority. She said though, that the numbers of girls who participated in rush week were much lower than the year before because of the recession. I forgot what the exact number was that she told me, but it was only a percentage of what they usually have. Did anybody notice this at their school?

No, we had so many women join we opened for expansion. However fraternities did not have the same increase considering there are almost twice as many fraternities as there are sororities. As of last semester the grade reports have 886 men and 782 women as members.
