Question Pledge Class Officers

Hey everyone, I just joined AKPsi and tomorrow at our pledge meeting, we are electing pledge class officers. I am just wondering, does your pledge class exec do much or are they active? Our membership chair said that it's mostly just a formality and a good thing to put on an application, but if I'm elected to a position, I want to stand out by making the pledge class exec more active. If you chapter's pledge class exec is active, what kind of activities do they do/plan? If not, what do you think some good ideas might be? Thanks for the help! Nikki

I hope you were successful in making the pledge class exec active. I've seen some chapters where it's really just a formality, but I've seen others where the pledge classes have exec boards comprised of very strong and active leaders. This usually translates to a more close knit pledge class and new initiates that are better prepared to take active exec roles in the chapter.
