Friday, we are meeting TKEGuy for brunch so they can all meet while my daughter is still home. My daughter flies home Saturday morning and TKEGuy will be coming by my house that day.

While my daughter is here, we're going to put up the Christmas tree and other decor. I took Tuesday and Wednesday off and Thursday and Friday are holidays so it's a one day workweek. I like that.

What about you, Phrozen?
Sounds like y’all got everything planned out. This will be your kids first time meeting TKE Dude? Do you think they’ll like him? I’m sure you’ve shared good things about him.

I’m eating at two different places. I’m going to be in a wedding two Saturdays from now. Me, along with a couple other groomsmen are eating at the groom’s family’s house. Then I’m going to my fam’s house to bring in the holiday there. Nothing real big or anything. Just friends and fam time together.

You’ll now have to wait four more years. Think positive, at least your father in law managed to avoid another four years of David Duke.

I think he and my son will get along great. I think my daughter will think he's kind of stiff and formal because that's how he comes across when he's nervous. Lol. They have heard good things and are happy that I seem so happy.

Sounds like a good time, mooching two dinners! Ha!

Lmao! When you have grown kids, and they’re meeting a new partner of a single parent, that’s about as equal to meeting the parents — the person meeting the parents is always nervous as hell.

Yeah. I’ll eat just enough so I’m still hungry for the next round of grubb Lol.

PGD-GRAD must have the most accidental visitors, of any GC member, to his GC profile page. My fat fingers are ALWAYS hitting his name instead of the "last page" area when attempting to enter the Word Association Thread.

Not in person...it started snowing yesterday and it hasn't stopped. I did get some clothing deals online (not a Vikings dress, though).

Mostly I'm sitting here dreading the Michigan-Ohio State game tomorrow, in which I expect retribution for 3 years of Michigan winning and copious trash talking...but there's always hope!

GO BLUE!

I think Michigan will beat Ohio, no doubt.

I doubt it. Michigan has been too inconsistent this season. Buckeyes probably have the best defense and one of the best offensive lines in college football.

We know who you mean, but please, that's OHIO STATE, thank you.

OHIO is a separate university with a wilder mascot.

It's actually an intentional sign of disrespect to just call that school Ohio. Forner coach Brady Hoke started it, but it's not as much of a "thing" anymore. Mostly it's about rolling our eyes at their pompous emphasis on calling their school THE Ohio State University. So it became a thing to call them the shortest name possible.

The hate is real.
