Several years ago when I was White Rose for the Gamma Omega Chapter at Baylor, the Sig Taus were wonderful to me! At my first sorority meeting after being selected, they presented a dozen white roses to me at my sorority meeting. One of the pledges was assigned as my 'escort' for each week of pledging, and they actually carried my books and brought me lunch - kind of embarrassing for me as I'm not one to want a lot of attention, but it was also really sweet that they included me in their activities, and they were paid back with lots of homemade cookies and treats, and dates to dances with my ADPi Sisters!
In addition, during the Spring Formal, I was presented with a beautiful plaque (which I still have!) and they sang the White Rose song to me.
Just wanted to say too....congrats to my Alpha Delta Pi Sister at Baylor Denise, who was just named SIG TAU SOUTHERN REGIONAL WHITE ROSE!!!! I am now an advisor for our ADPi chapter and she is an incredible person! I am so proud she represents Sig Tau as well as Alpha Delta Pi!
