Favorite color combinations for letters?

I found this great site where you can actually see it before you buy it...

http://designergreek.com/design.shtml

Anyway, I can't decide what color letters/backgrounds would go good on black sweatshirts, any ideas?

How about pink letters with a blue border and then a white border surrounding the blue? Since you only have two greek letters to work with, you'd have room for the extra border.

I checked out that site and I LOVE the little ladybugs on a red background. That's what I would get if I were shopping. If you don't want a pattern, you can always have white on red or red on white. That's bold and stands out. Another suggestion is to select your sorority's colors. That's always a safe bet. Happy shopping!

I am not sure if that site is actually up and running, my sorors and I have been trying to get to the checkout part on that since sometime last year. So I dunno , it might not be fully finished or something. As for fave letter patterns or colors. My fave shirt actually has the letters in a glittery like pink and then with a white border on a baby blue shirt. (Thanks Eirene_DGP, for that one * )

I really liked the little ladybugs on red too! Now, how would that look on black? I can't decide if I like it or not.

My family letters are on a black sweatshirt, and everyone says they are the BEST... anyways, it's a tie-dye background and black letters, so you really stand out. They're HOT.

My best friend is a DG, so I give your permission to use them

My family letters are on tie dye on black as well, and I must say, they are AWESOME!! Everyone loves them Of course, the sweatshirt is sorta faded a little b/c it's older, but it still looks great!!

Although not my personal style, I like the animal print ones on black backgrounds. Those look really cool!

The best site I have found for color combinations is www.somethinggreek.com. You can look at all of their different patterens. As my soror DGP honey mentioned, they have just about any color in glitter and that is really nice.

Thanks! I just ordered that black sweatshirt with the lady bugs on red.

I like the way the animal print looks on black as well, but that's so not my style.

I wan't to order a bunch of stuff now! he he, this is addicting...

You're welcome. I hope you love your new letters! They looked so cute on that website. Enjoy! And a good rule is no more than two new sweatshirts a semester. Unless they are really cute and you just can't stop yourself...

He he, thanks again Creme! I actually just bought that hooded sweatshirt & a t-shirt, I was good I'll just consider it a late x-mas gift to myself

My school goes by quarters...so I guess that means I'm allowed to get 6 sweatshirts a year (2 each qtr) instead of just 4 per year like you...lol..

Well, I've been an active for about a year now...this will be my first hooded sweatshirt, so I'm actually behind...he he
